Dr. Robert Ballard is a National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence, a world-famous ocean scientist, explorer and educator, who has discovered new marine life-forms -- along with
some of the most famous shipwrecks of history, like the Titanic.
When Dr. Ballard was brought in for a presentation to students at the college, I performed a long list of services prior to and during his visit. The following
year, I did the same job when journalist Lisa Ling was the presenter.
